Inspired by Tradition. Defined by Couture.
Custom bridal lehengas, designed one-on-one with founder Harpreet Kaur and hand-embroidered by master artisans.
Your Lehenga Begins With a Conversation
At Herpret Couture, your bridal lehenga is designed around you. Every custom piece begins with a private consultation where we learn about your wedding, your events and the look you have been imagining for years.
From there, our founder and designer Harpreet Kaur guides every decision: the fabric that suits your frame, the colour that flatters your skin, the embroidery that tells your story. Then our artisans spend months bringing it to life by hand. The result is a piece that is unmistakably yours, made to be worn once and kept for generations. Looking for something sooner? Our Luxury Prêt collection and select sample pieces are ready to wear.

From First Sketch to Final Fitting
Every couture lehenga takes months to create, so we recommend ordering 6 to 9 months before your wedding. Here is what that journey looks like.
- Consultation. A private appointment by phone or at our New Canaan studio. We talk through your events, your style and your vision.
- Design. Harpreet helps you choose fabrics, colours and motifs, refining your ideas into one cohesive couture design.
- Handcraft. Once your measurements and deposit are in, our artisans begin, panel by panel, with the handwork chosen for your fabric and design, from zardozi and dabka to fine resham and appliqué.
- Delivery. After a full quality inspection, your lehenga arrives finished, steamed and ready to wear, packed to be kept as an heirloom.
The Gold Standard of Artistry
Our artisans work in techniques passed down through generations, including hand zardozi and dabka, fine resham embroidery, Banarasi brocade and couture appliqué, each chosen to suit the fabric and the design. Each motif is set to last, so the piece you wear on your wedding day looks just as beautiful when your daughter wears it.
This is not fast fashion. It is couture, built to endure.
Hand-Embroidered, Every Panel
No machine shortcuts on the work that matters.
Inspected at Every Stage
Our quality team checks embroidery, stitching, flare and drape before anything leaves the studio.
A Drape Made for You
Cut to your measurements for structure, movement and comfort through every ritual.
